Gospel

Gospel is one of the biggest genres in Kenya and across East Africa, and one of the most varied. It includes worship songs sung in church, praise anthems with full choirs, and contemporary gospel that sounds like Afrobeats, Bongo, hip-hop or RnB, with lyrics about faith, hope, gratitude and testimony. You'll hear it in Swahili, English and many local languages.

Kenyan gospel artists have long been some of the country's most popular musicians, and the genre keeps reinventing itself. Young artists bring modern production and dance rhythms; others stay close to choir traditions, acoustic worship and hymns.

This page brings together gospel music uploaded by independent artists, choirs and worship teams on Ziki. Play the popular songs to start, browse the newest uploads, and follow the artists whose ministry and music speak to you. Every track streams free, and many can be downloaded for church, fellowship or personal devotion. If you lead worship or record gospel, upload your songs so more people can hear them.
