Question 1

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Tap Buy (or License for a beat) and pay through Paystack with M-PESA or a card. You don't need a Ziki account: the download link is emailed to you. If you're signed in, your purchases also stay in your library.

Question 2

What do I get when I buy a song?

Accepted Answer

The MP3 as the artist uploaded it, for personal listening on your own devices. The artist keeps all rights to the music.

Question 3

What can I do with a beat?

Accepted Answer

Every beat comes with a standard non-exclusive licence: record and release one song on it, for profit, up to 100,000 combined streams or sales, plus one music video. Credit the producer. Full terms are on the licences page.

Question 4

How much goes to the artist?

Accepted Answer

Artists on a Basic account keep 90% of each sale and Ziki covers the payment fee. Artists on Ziki PRO keep everything except the payment processor's small fee.

Question 5

What if something goes wrong?

Accepted Answer

Digital downloads are final, but if a payment fails or a download doesn't arrive, email sales@ziki.co.ke with your payment reference and we'll sort it out.
