About this playlist
Gengetone is Nairobi's own sound: fast, loud and built for the matatu and the party, with call-and-response hooks and lyrics mostly in Sheng. This playlist collects Gengetone uploaded to Ziki by independent Kenyan artists and crews.
Tracks come from the Gengetone genre and the list grows as new songs drop. Every song streams free, no account needed. If you make Gengetone yourself, upload it to Ziki and it can show up here.
